Chelsea FC travelled to Athletico Madrid for the first leg of the UEFA champions league semi finals 2014. Although the final scored ended 0-0 the game still had a lots of action, Ramirez wasted a one on one chance in the first half and we must mention the great performance on and off the ball from Torres. Madrid dominated on the outside of Chelsea’s box but couldn’t find the perfect pass to break the Chelsea defence.
Athletico fired shots in from outside the area with a few coming very close but with a handful of poor decisions from the referee Madrid were getting a tad frustrated.
We look forward to seeing the other semi final tonight as current champions Bayern Munich take on Real Madrid.
Madrid scraped through the first leg of the semi finals with an early goal from Benzema. Last night we seen Ronaldo back in action after being out injured for a few weeks. Although Real Madrid won, Bayern Dominated majority of the match but due to the great defence from Real the held off the current champions league winners.
