We take a look at the world of Football in Week 36 and the final few games of the season. Liverpool hosted Chelsea in the top of the table clash but even though Liverpool dominated the majority of the game, a slip from Steven Gerrard allowing Ba to score at the stroke of half time plus a final minute tap in from Willian gave Chelsea and Manchester City the chance to take the top spot.

Manchester United V Norwich City:
Man Utd got back to winning ways as Ryan Giggs takes over a caretaker manager at Old Trafford. The game start out slow but with a late penalty in the first half for Manchester United the Reds seemed to settle going into the second half. Not long after the restart Wayne Rooney struck from outside the box to bend it past the Norwich Goalkeeper. Soon after Mata entered the field he managed to find himself in the right place at the right time twice. 4 – 0 Manchester United
Crystal Palace V Manchester City
With Liverpool losing to Chelsea earlier Manchester City had a chance to close the gap on the Merseyside team with a game in hand. City dominate Palace throughout the game even though they had a few opportunities to tie the game up City looked comfortable. Dzeko got Manchester City off to a flying start within the first 5 minutes with a cool header from a brilliant pass from YaYa. A pass and move combination with YaYa Toure seen him enter the box and bend the ball around the keeper to give City a big advantage going into the second half.

With everything to play for at the top of the table Jose managed to work his magic again and take a cracking 3 points from the league leaders.
